Texas Department of Public Safety Director Steve McCraw was one of the police officials called to testify before a grand jury in Uvalde. McCraw testified Wednesday before the grand jury that's looking into possible charges against police officers for their bungled response to the 2022 school shooting. The grand jury subpoenaed a number of officers last week to appear and testify. No word yet on how many officers were summoned, their police forces, or their identities. The shooter killed 19 children and two teachers at Robb Elementary.
