A Uvalde County grand jury is summoning several law enforcement officers who responded to the deadly school shooting in 2022. The officers are subpoenaed to provide in-person testimony starting next week at the Uvalde County Courthouse. The grand jury's investigation of the bungled police response to the shooting that killed 19 children and two teachers at Robb Elementary could result in criminal charges against officers. No word yet on how many officers received subpoenas, their identities, or their police forces.
