The man wanted in the shooting deaths of eight people in the Joliet, Illinois area is dead, after being located southwest of San Antonio last night.
Joliet Police Chief Williams Evans says Romeo Nance shot seven people found dead in two homes yesterday. "This is probably the worst crime scene I have ever been associated with," said Nance.
The suspect was located last night by U.S. Marshals near Natalia, Texas, where he took his own life with a handgun following a confrontation with Texas law enforcement officials.
