Nearly 60 Cars Destroyed In Denton County Auto Auction Fire

Nearly 60 vehicles parked at an auto auction facility north of Fort Worth, Texas were destroyed in an overnight fire. The fire broke out about 1:30 this morning near Northlake, in Denton County. Firefighters say crews were initially dispatched on reports of a grass fire, but when they arrived they found dozens of vehicles burning. Flames from the fire lit up the sky from miles away and firefighters from several fire departments had to be brought in to fight the blaze. In all, 58 vehicles were destroyed. An investigation is underway into what sparked the fire.
