The Uvalde Moving Forward Foundation says construction of a new school to replace Robb Elementary is on hold for now. The groundbreaking ceremony was scheduled to take place in October as the bidding process wrapped up. But the foundation asked a second construction firm for additional bids to make sure they were getting the new school at the best cost. Analysis of the bids is expected to be completed by early next month. Robb Elementary is being replaced because it was the site of last year's shooting that killed 21 people.
