The Rockets failed to knock off the defending NBA champions. Houston lost to the Denver Nuggets 134-124 on the road at Ball Arena. Jalen Green led Houston with 26 points, six rebounds and nine assists in the losing effort. Alperen Sengun pitched in with 22 points. The Rockets have lost two straight to slip to 8-and-8. They will continue their road trip against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night.
