The Mavs outscored the Rockets 37-27 in the fourth quarter to clinch the win in the Group Play finale. Doncic erupted for 41 points, nine rebounds and nine assists in the win. Kyrie Irving pitched in with 27 points and five assists as the Mavs improved to 11-and-6. They will play host to the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday night. Alperen Sengun led Houston with 31 points and nine rebounds in the losing effort. Fred VanVleet finished with a 10-point, 12-assist double-double. The Rockets had a two-game win streak snapped to fall to 8-and-7. They will visit the Denver Nuggets tonight.
