A Kerrville woman is in custody and accused of shooting and killing her sister. Kerr County deputies responded around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday to the reported shooting at a home on Hilltop Drive. They found a woman identified as 61-year-old Christy Burns who had been shot in the chest. She was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Deputies arrested the victim's sister, 63-year-old Carrie Burns, on a charge of murder. No word yet about a motive.
