Abbott Endorses Trump During Border Visit

Former President Donald Trump's presidential campaign has Governor Gregg Abbott's endorsement. Abbott expressed his support for Trump on Sunday in Edinburg after the two men served meals to state troopers and Texas National Guard members stationed on the border. Abbott said Trump would secure the southern border and "restore law and order." Trump said the endorsement was a "tremendous honor" since Abbott has worked to counter President Joe Biden's open-border policies.
