Rangers Lose To Red Sox

The Rangers suffered their fourth straight loss. Texas fell to the Boston Red Sox 4-2 at Globe Life Field. Rangers reliever Will Smith was charged with his seventh loss and fifth blown save after he allowed three runs in just one-third of an inning. Marcus Semien went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in the losing effort. Semien now has 25 homers this season. The Rangers are one-and-a-half games behind the Astros for the AL West lead at 82-and-68. Right-hander Nathan Eovaldi will start on the mound against Boston tonight.
