Rangers Lose To Twins In Series Finale

The Rangers fell to the Twins in extra innings. Texas lost to Minnesota 7-6 in 13 innings in the series finale at Target Field. Jonathan Hernandez was charged the loss after he allowed the game-winning run in the bottom of the 13th. Jonah Heim hit his 15th homer on a grand slam in the fourth inning. J.P. Martinez hit his first career home run as the Rangers fell to 73-and-57. Texas continues its road trip tonight against the New York Mets. Right-hander Jon Gray is slated to start the series opener.
