North East ISD is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Board of Trustees. The district announced Tuesday that they need to fill the Single Member District 2 seat following the death of Trustee Terri Williams. Applicants must fill out an application, provide a resume, and submit to a criminal background check. Each applicant must be a registered voter living in District 2 for at least six months, with no felony convictions. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. next Monday at NEISD's main administration building on Tesoro Drive.
