The Rangers failed to sweep the Angels at home. Texas was shutout by Los Angeles 2-0 in the final outing of a three-game set at Globe Life Field. Starting pitcher Jon Gray was charged the loss after striking out four and allowing one earned run through seven innings of work. The Rangers were held to just three hits and went 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position. Texas fell to 72-and-49. They will remain home to host the Milwaukee Brewers tomorrow night.
