A thief with expensive taste is in custody, and at least 1,100 pieces of high-end jewelry have been recovered. Bexar County deputies served three search warrants and found the stolen jewelry, including watches worth $500,000 each. Deputies arrested 37-year-old Julian Puente on a charge of felony theft. Puente and an accomplice reportedly worked as contractors in upscale neighborhoods, where they checked out what people owned. The second suspect hasn't been charged.
