The San Antonio Spurs headlined the NBA Hall of Fame induction ceremony Saturday night. The Class of 2023 honored last night in Springfield, Massachusetts included Spurs point guard Tony Parker, five-time NBA champion Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich, and former Spurs assistant coach Becky Hammon, the first woman to serve as a full-time in the NBA. Other inductees included Mavs legend Dirk Nowitzki, Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade, two-time NBA champ Pau Gasol who won titles with the Lakers and also played for the Spurs, the 1976 U.S. Olympic women's basketball team, and the late Jim Valvano, who coached North Carolina State to the 1983 NCAA championship with a huge upset of heavily-favored Houston in the title game.
