The Bastrop County Sheriff's Office is investigating after three people and a dog died when they fell into a well. The sheriff's office confirmed the bodies of two men, a woman and a dog had been recovered from the site. The Austin Fire Department responded to the incident on New Trail near County Road 461. They say the hole in the ground was filled with hydrogen sulfide and had to be ventilated before any of their personnel could enter it.
