Texans Sign New Deal With Tytus Howard

The Texans have locked up their starting right tackle to a long-term deal. Houston and Tytus Howard agreed to a three-year, $56 million extension that locks up the former first round pick for the future. The deal includes $36.5 million guaranteed. Howard has started 54 games for the Texans over the past four seasons. In other news, second-year wideout John Metchie the Third practiced for the first time after missing his rookie season due to a leukemia diagnosis.
