The Astros activated two star players off of the injured list on Wednesday. Designated hitter Yordan Alvarez and second baseman Jose Altuve were reinstated from the IL prior to yesterday's series final against Texas. Altuve went 0-for-3 in his return, while Alvarez was 1-for-2 with a walk. Alvarez hadn't played since injuring his right oblique on June 8th, while Altuve is now back from his second stint on the IL this season.
