U.S. Rep. Colin Allred is reporting more than $6 million in campaign funds raised so far in his campaign against Republican Sen. Ted Cruz. The Dallas Democrat also transferred more than $2 million from his House campaign account. That makes a total of more than $8 million between the launch of his Senate campaign on May 3rd and the end of the second quarter on June 30th. Cruz has not yet released his second-quarter fundraising totals. The figures are due to the Federal Election Commission by July 15th.
