Senator Ted Cruz is refiling legislation to crack down on illegal immigration. Those caught crossing the border with multiple convictions, or a conviction for an aggravated felony, would face a five year mandatory prison sentence. It's called Kate's Law, named in memory of Kate Steinle. The 32-year-old was shot and killed in San Fransisco, back in 2015, by an illegal immigrant who had been deported five times.
