Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at his South Side home on Sunday. Officers responded shortly after noon to the reported shooting on West Ansley Boulevard. A woman had called and said her 49-year-old husband had been shot. Officers found a man who had been shot in the upper chest. He died at the scene. Police detained the suspect at the scene. They say the shooting may have resulted from an argument, but the motive is still under investigation.
