The Rangers were shutout at home. Texas lost to the St. Louis Cardinals 1-0 in the series finale at Globe Life Field. The Rangers were limited to four hits at the plate as their five-game winning streak came to an end. Jon Gray was charged the loss and fell to 6-and-2 after striking out a dozen batters and allowing one earned run in a complete game. Texas remains atop the NL Central at 40-and-21. The Rangers hit the road to take on the Tampa Bay Rays tomorrow night.
