The Astros failed to complete a four-game sweep of the Angels. Houston lost to Los Angeles 2-1 at Minute Maid Park. Houston's lone run came on a Yainer Diaz solo home run in the fifth inning. Phil Maton was charged the loss after allowing one earned run in one inning of relief of starter J.P. France. The Astros are sitting second in the AL West at 35-and-24. They will travel to take on the Toronto Blue Jays for a four-game set tonight. Right-hander Brandon Bielak is slated to take the mound opposite Toronto right-hander Alex Manoah.
