A Senate bill to ban sex-change procedures for children is on its way to Governor Abbott's desk to be signed into law. The bill prohibits doctors from providing puberty blockers, hormone therapy, and certain surgeries to kids experiencing the psychological condition known as gender dysphoria. The bill calls for revoking the licenses of medical professionals who provide the services. The House approved an amended version of the bill on Monday, and the Senate on Wednesday approved the changes.
