The Rangers are celebrating a series victory after taking three out of four from the Athletics. Texas came away with an 11-3 win in the series finale in Oakland. Andrew Heaney got the start and struck out nine batters while allowing one run over six innings pitched. Jonathan Hernandez was credited with his first victory of the season. Adolis Garcia led the way at the plate with five RBI including a grand slam for the Rangers. Robbie Grossman drove in three runs during the game including a two-run homer. Texas is atop the AL West at 25-and-15. The Rangers will host the Atlanta Braves for a three-game series that begins tonight. Right-hander Dane Dunning is slated for the start.
