The Democratic chairman of the Texas House Committee on Transportation says his panel has no plans to pass any Senate bills. Rep. Terry Canales of Edinburg accused the Senate of dragging its feet when it comes to moving on House bills. Canales said his committee had expected to vote out ten Senate bills during Wednesday's meeting, but instead he ripped up the bills' voting cards. Canales didn't say which House bills he wants the Senate to advance.
