H-E-B is donating $100,000 to teachers and counselors in Uvalde CISD to cover the cost of supplies and materials for their students. The special grant was announced on Monday at the school board meeting. The Excellence in Education grant is named for Eva Mireles and Irma Garcia, the two teachers who were killed along with 19 students in last year's school shooting at Robb Elementary.
