Leody Taveras led an offensive eruption to help the Rangers past the Angels 16-8 at Angel Stadium. Taveras went 4-for-5 with four RBI and a pair of runs scored to lead Texas to its second straight win. Ezequiel Duran, Adolis Garcia and Josh Smith homered as the Rangers improved to 20-and-13. Josh Sborz earned the win after tossing two scoreless innings. The Rangers will travel to face the Seattle Mariners tonight with right-hander Jon Gray taking the mound.
