Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton says he plans to investigate three major pharmaceutical companies for deceptive practices. Paxton stated on Monday that the firms may have misrepresented the effectiveness of coronavirus vaccines and the likelihood of becoming infected after being vaccinated. The probe will look into possible manipulation of trial data by Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson. Paxton opposed pandemic mandates, and says he wants to know if they were imposed as a result of the "profit motive or political pressure."
