The Rangers blew a late five-run lead to lose their second straight game. Texas lost to the Cincinnati Reds 7-6 at the Great American Ball Park. Nathaniel Lowe, Marcus Semien and Josh Smith each homered in the loss. Ian Kennedy was charged with the loss and blown save after allowing the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth. The Rangers remain atop the AL West at 14-and-9 heading into this afternoon's series finale. Right-hander Jon Gray will start on the hill for Texas.
