Blue Jays Prevail Over Astros In Houston

The Blue Jays jumped out to a four-run lead and held on for a 4-2 victory over the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park. 

Toronto's Matt Chapman launched his fifth homer of the season, while Vladimir Guerrero hit his third of the year in the fourth inning of the win. 

Blue Jays starter Chris Bassitt improved to 2-and-2 this season striking out five over six-and-a-third scoreless frames. Jordan Romano earned his seventh save of the year as the Blue Jays improved to 11-and-7. 

Houston's Yordan Alvarez and Kyle Tucker drove in a run in the losing effort. Astros starting pitcher Jose Urquidy fell to 1-and-1 after letting up four earned runs over four-and-a-third innings. The Astros slip to 8-and-10.
