The Rangers are heading into the second week of the season with an unblemished record. Texas defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 2-1 at Globe Life Field to complete the three-game sweep. Josh Jung hit his first home run of the season with a solo shot in the second inning and Marcus Semien tacked on another run in the fifth with an RBI single. Martin Perez earned the win on the mound for Texas after allowing one run while striking out seven in five-and-two-thirds innings. Texas will host the Baltimore Orioles for a three-game series beginning tonight.
