More than 24,000 Texas utility customers are waking up in the dark across Texas. Storms hit the northern part of the state hard yesterday with rain, large hail, heavy winds and possible tornadoes. Damage was reported in several areas, including a warehouse in Grand Prairie and a car dealership in Irving. Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport and Love Field issued ground stops during the storms. Some cancelations or delays are still being reported today.
