State Senator Roland Gutierrez is putting forth more proposed gun safety legislation. On Tuesday, Gutierrez put forth bills that his office says will focus on banning what he calls "kid killer" bullets, ensuring safe gun storage, and closing perceived gun-show loopholes. Gutierrez released the details of the bills at the state Capitol while accompanied by families and survivors of last year's school shooting in Uvalde. Gutierrez's Senate District 19 covers Uvalde and part of San Antonio.
