Texas fell to Big 12 rival Kansas 88-80 at Allen Fieldhouse. The sixth-ranked Longhorns never led on the road against the eighth-ranked Jayhawks. Marcus Carr scored a game-high 29 points in the losing effort. Texas falls to 19-and-5. Texas A&M hosts Auburn tonight in SEC action. The Aggies have won three of their last four to improve to 16-and-7. Elsewhere, 19th-ranked TCU visits number-11 Kansas State in a Big 12 bout in Manhattan. The Horned Frogs are coming off a six-point loss to Oklahoma State last weekend that dropped them to 17-and-6. Tomorrow, number-two Houston hosts Tulsa, 12th-ranked Baylor takes on Oklahoma in Waco, Texas Tech visits Oklahoma State, and SMU welcomes Temple to town.
