Classes are canceled for today in Pasadena ISD and Deer Park ISD following Tuesday's severe weather. The National Weather Service confirms a tornado touched down in Pasadena just before 3 p.m. and headed for Baytown. The storm prompted the first tornado emergency warning ever issued in the Houston area. Most of the storm damage was in Pasadena, where vehicles and buildings were damaged and trees were blown down. One non-life-threatening injury was reported.
