Cowboys Season Comes To End With Loss To 49ers

The Cowboys have been sent home by San Francisco for the second straight season. The Niners knocked off the Dallas Cowboys 19-12 in the NFC Divisional Round of the playoffs in Santa Clara. Dak Prescott threw for 206 yards, one TD and two interceptions for the Cowboys.

The teams tied the NFL record with their ninth playoff meeting, with the Niners now 4-and-5 against the rival Cowboys.

Dallas has lost seven straight games in the divisional round, which is the longest streak by any team since 1970.

According to ESPN, running back Tony Pollard suffered a fractured left fibula in the first half that will require surgery.

Team owner Jerry Jones said after the game that head coach Mike McCarthy's job is not in jeopardy. Jones said he was disappointed for the fans and the franchise.
