U-Haul's latest report on one-way rentals indicates that a great many people are moving to Texas. The Lone Star State is the top destination while Florida is second. The population of Texas has been growing steadily for decades. The state now has more than 30-million residents, second only to California. Many of the new Texans fled here from California, which ranks dead last on U-Haul's Growth Index.
