Two San Antonio police officers are on administrative duty following an officer-involved shooting on Wednesday night. The officers shot a man who reportedly pointed a gun their direction at a West Side motel. Police responded before 9 p.m. to a report of a man with a gun in the parking lot of the Luxury Inn on Culebra Road near NW 18th Street. An officer knocked on the door to the man's room, and when it opened, he reportedly came out gun-first. Both officers fired, striking him in the torso. The man is in critical condition.
