Majority of Americans Go to Bathroom for Alone Time

A new survey finds more than half of American adults go to the bathroom to be alone, not just because they need to go. The OnePoll survey found that 51-percent of adults in the U.S. go to sit on the toilet so they can have some peace and quiet. And it happens more often when there are more people in the house. Parents with kids living at home are three times more likely, 62-percent to 23-percent, to go to the bathroom to be alone than single people who don't have children.
