Schertz police are investigating after an eight-year-old brought a gun and two knives to Rose Garden Elementary School. Shortly before noon on Tuesday, a child told a teacher that another student had showed him the loaded handgun. Officers are still trying to figure out if a threat was intended toward students or staff. The Schertz PD is working with the Bexar County District Attorney's Office to determine whether charges will be filed against the third-grade student or his parents.
