Texas defeated Rice 87-81 in overtime behind 28 points from Marcus Carr. The Longhorns fell six spots to number-8 in the latest Coaches Poll released on Monday. Elsewhere, Houston dropped three spots to number-4. The Cougars are hosting North Carolina A&T tonight. Around the state, Baylor moved up a spot to number-11 while TCU rose up three spots to number-22.
