Texans coach Lovie Smith left the door open for a possible starting quarterback change this week at this Monday press conference. Davis Mills has struggled this season and has thrown at least one interception in five straight games. In 10 starts this year, Mills has thrown for 2,144 yards with 11 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. In two seasons leading Houston, the Stanford product has a record of 3-17-and-1. If Smith decides to bench Mills, the expected new starter would be veteran Kyle Allen. In other news, Derek Stingley is dealing with a 'mild hamstring injury' and there is no update on when he will return.
