Canada's Prime Minister is freezing handgun sales and transfers.
Justin Trudeau announced a ban on any exchange of handguns between individuals, in addition to a stop to foreign handguns being brought into the country from abroad.
He said his citizens "have the right to feel safe in their homes, in their schools, and in their places of worship."
