Some San Diego parents are upset because a Queer friendly event called Boo Bash was listed on the district's community events site.
The event will feature a drag show and that's why some protested outside of Encinitas Unified School District offices Tuesday evening, saying a drag show is inappropriate for children to see.
Organizers say the event is for all families and students and the drag queens will be dressed appropriately as Disney villains.
The school district had removed the event from it's website prior to Tuesday's parent protest. Three other school districts in the county are still advertising the event.
