Texans Beat Jaguars For First Win

Rookie Dameon Pierce rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown as the Texans beat the Jaguars 13-6 in Jacksonville. Pierce just missed rushing for over 100 yards in two straight games as he helped Houston secure its first win of the season. Fellow rookie Derek Stingley Jr. recorded his first interception and Desmond King the Second also came up with a pick. The Texans improved to 1-3-and-1. Trevor Lawrence struggled, completing 25-of-47 passes for 286 yards and two interceptions. The teams were tied at halftime six-all, but Jacksonville was shutout in the second half. The Jaguars dropped to 2-and-3.
