Rangers Drop Series Opener To Yankees

The Rangers came up short in their home series opener. Texas fell 3-1 to the Yankees in Arlington. The Rangers had a quiet day offensively with only two hits. Martin Perez was tagged with the loss after allowing one run over six innings pitched. Kole Calhoun drove in the only run of the game for Texas, which is now 66-and-93. The Rangers are slated for a doubleheader with New York today.
