Angels Sweep Rangers

Mike Trout hit his 39th home run of the season as the Angels defeated the Rangers 8-3 in Anaheim. Trout went deep in the fourth inning with a solo shot. Livan Soto also added three hits and two RBI for Los Angeles, which swept the series and improved to 73-and-86. Jaime Barria picked up the win in relief after starter Tucker Davidson allowed three runs over four-and-a-third frames. Tyson Miller was charged the loss after giving up seven runs in four innings of work. Corey Seager homered for Texas, which fell to 66-and-92.
