Astros Hammer D'backs

Jose Altuve hit two of the Astros' five home runs in a 10-2 rout of the Diamondbacks in Houston. Altuve's first long ball came in the first inning and was his 12th leadoff homer of the season. Alex Bregman, Jeremy Pena, and David Hensley also went deep for the 'Stros, who have won three in-a-row. Houston is now just one win or one Yankees loss away from clinching the best record in the American League, which includes home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. Luis Garcia tossed six innings of one-run ball to run his record to 14-and-8. Daulton Varsho and Geraldo Perdomo homered for the Snakes, who have dropped four-of-five. Zach Davies fell to 2-and-5 with the loss.
