1 President Biden Slams Russia For Making Nuclear Threats, Ukraine War
The U.S. is standing with over 140 nations in solidarity with Ukraine as Russian President Vladimir Putin has made nuclear threats against Europe. Speaking at the United Nations General Assembly meeting yesterday, President Biden joined other world leaders to defend Ukraine's rights as a sovereign nation. He noted the Russian leader's threats showed a "reckless disregard" for the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty and touted the U.S.'s more than $25-billion contribution for humanitarian aid to Ukraine (to date). He added that more than 40 other countries have also donated their money and equipment. As for the atrocities continuing in Ukraine, Biden said no matter where somebody lives in the world, they "should make your blood run cold." The President was hard on emphasizing the U.S.'s intention to continue to stand against Russia's unprovoked aggression and for Ukraine's democracy.

That means development is likely – even though its direction is still somewhat up for debate. Meantime, Hurricane Fiona remains a powerful Cat 4 storm as of the latest advisory with sustained winds of 130-miles per hour. The storm is forecast to approach Bermuda later today.
